The Eagle Valley Land Trust is dedicated to preserving open lands for agriculture, wildlife & scenic beauty in the Eagle River Valley. Formed in 1981,the Eagle Valley Land Trust is the third oldest land trust in Colorado and an acknowledged leader in the field. Our mission: To preserve forever scenic vistas, open space, historic lands, waterways and wildlife habitat that represent the uniqueness of Eagle County for the enjoyment, education and benefit of all who experience this special place.

The Eagle River Watershed Council is presently working on 17 programs and projects throughout Eagle County to preserve, protect, restore and improve the health of the Eagle River watershed. Our mission: The Eagle River Watershed Council advocates for the health and conservation of the Upper Colorado and Eagle River basins through research,education and projects and provides a forum where everyone can gain a greater understanding of the Eagle River environment.

Our mission: The Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability fosters alignment of community and environment through leadership, education, advocacy and service. The Alliance is a community organization promoting sustainable practices in recycling & waste reduction, energy & renewable power, and green building & transportation.
